Bangladesh National Football Team reached Kuala Lumpur International Airport on Thursday to play a FIFA International Friendly against Malaysian National Team on August 29 at the Shah Alam Stadium in the Malaysian capital.
Bangladesh will play the FIFA International friendly against Malaysia
as a part of their preparation for the FIFA World Cup Asian Qualifiers/AFC Cup Qualifiers on September 3 at 7 pm (local time) against Asian champions and four-time World Cup playing Australia at the NIB Stadium in Perth.
Earlier, Bangladesh National Football team left the capital for Malaysia Wednesday late night en-route to Perth to play in the FIFA World Cup Asian Qualifiers/AFC Cup Qualifiers in a hope to display their ever-best performances against much superiors Australia.
All the players and officials of Bangladesh team are well and in sound condition said a BFF media release from Kuala Lumpur on Thursday.
Bangladesh Football Team is scheduled to make their first practice session Thursday at 6 pm (Malaysia Time) at Padang Latihan Sime Darby, Bukit Jelutong Football ground.
Kuala Lumpur weather is now almost as Bangladesh, the BFF media release added.
After playing the FIFA International Friendly against Malaysia, Bangladesh team will leave Kuala Lumpur for Perth, Australia on Sunday (August 30) morning.
After return from Australia on Sept 4, Bangladesh National football team will play their home match against another giant Jordan on Sept 8 in Dhaka.
Earlier, Bangladesh grouped with Australia, Jordan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan to play home and away basis qualifying round matches.
Skipper of two times Bangladesh Premier Football League champions Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club and the country’s celebrated midfielder Mamunul Islam Mamun will lead Bangladesh team in two matches that comprises 23 booters and 10 officials.
