Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation has observed the National Energy Safety Day in the port city on Sunday.
In observance of the Day, a colourful rally brought out from Chittagong Stadium premises which terminated at Chittagong Press club square parading through different city roads.
Six subsidiary companies of Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation ,Padma Oil Co. Ltd.
Meghna petroleum Ltd,Jamuna Oil Co Ltd , Eastern Refinery Ltd.,LP Gas LTD. Standard Asiatic Ltd. and officers and staffs of Karnaphuli Gas Distribution Co. Ltd participated in the rally.
Director (0peation & Planning) o f BPC Md. Mosleuddin led the rally . He also spoke in the r ally at terminated venue of press club.
Among others senior officials of the subsidiary companies participated the rally.
In the rally BPC Director emphasized the need for safety of Energy sector , sources said.
