National Women’s Handball begins today

The EXIM Bank 31st National Women’s Handball competition begins from today at Birshreshtha Noor Mohammad Stadium in Narail district, said a Bangladesh Handball Federation (BHF) press release on Monday.
By the cooperation of BHF, a total of twelve district and services teams will take part in the competition, which will be held to mark the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Narail-2 constituency parliament member Mashrafe Bin Mortaza is expected to present in the inauguration ceremony of the competition as the chief guest while Narail district Police Super Mohammad Jasim Uddin, Narail district Awami League president advocate Suvash Chandra Bosh and BHF general secretary Asaduzzaman Kohinoor will present as the special guests.
Narail deputy commissioner and Narail district sports association’s president Mohammad Habibur Rahman will preside over the opening ceremony.
In this regard, a press conference was held at Narail Birshreshtha Noor Mohammad Stadium to provide all the details of the meet. Narail deputy commissioner and Narail District Sports Association’s (DSA) president Mohammad Habibur Rahman, Narail DSA general secretary Ashikur Rahman Miku, managing committee’s chairman Nurul Islam and managing committee’s secretary Salahuddin Ahmed were present in the press conference.
The participating twelve teams are Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Party, Bangladesh Police Handball Club, Jamalpur, Naogaon, Panchagarh, Faridpur, Madaripur, Rangamati, Dinajpur, Gopalganj, Dhaka and host Narail districts.
