National Volleyball team leaves for Iran tomorrow

Bangladesh National Volleyball team, now preparing for the 12th South Asian Games, will leave Dhaka for Iran tomorrow (Monday) night by an Air Arabian flight for a higher training and as well as to play ten friendly matches there.
The 12th South Asian Games will be held in the Indian city Guwahati and Shillong from February 6-16 next year.
The Bangladesh team comprising officials and 19 players is expected to reach Iran on Tuesday.
President of Bangladesh Volleyball Federation (BVF) Mohammad Atiqul Islam disclosed it at a press conference at the Shaheed Suhrawardy National Indoor Stadium in Mirpur on Saturday. BVF general secretary Ashiqur Rahman Miku also spoke on the occasion.
Members of Bangladesh team: Officials – Advocate Fazle Rabbi Babul (Team Official), Mohammad Azizur Rahman (Team Manager), Imdadul Haque, Nazrul Islam and Masud Hafiz (Trainer).
