Kushtia district clinches champion in the National Inter-school Debate Competition as arranged by Bangladesh Television at Theatre Institute Chattogram auditorium in the port city yesterday morning.
In final debate session, Kushtia Zila School defeated BAWA Girls High school. City Mayor AJM Nasiruddin presided the final round of the debate . TV personality Abdur Noor Tushar, Dy police commissioner of CMP Bijoy Basak and the Bureau Chief of BSS, Chattogram Md. Kalim Sarwar performed the responsibility of Judges of the debate. Abid Mahmud of Kushtia Zila School became the best orator of the debate. City Mayor distributed the prizes among the participants.
Director General of Bangladesh TV SM Harunur Rashid graced the occasion as chief guest spoke by Abdur Noor Tusar, General Manager of Chittagong centre of BTV Nitai Kumar Bhattachariya.
