Bangladesh Police emerged the champions of the Men’s Division of the Walton Home Appliance First National Throwball Competition on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Khulna Throwball Academy became champions of the Women’s Division on the same day. The competitions were held at the Kabaddi Stadium.
Khulna Throwball Academy finished runners-up of the Men’s Division while Magura Throwball Samity became runners-up of the Women’s Division.
Saikat Siddique of Titas Club was adjudged the best player of the Men’s Division while Nazma Akter of Khulna Throwball Academy was adjudged the best player of the Women’s Division.
After the competitions Secretary General of Bangladesh Olympic Association Syed Shahed Reza distributed the prizes among the winners as the chief guest while Executive Director of Walton SM Zahid Hasan was with him as the special guest.
First Senior Additional Director of RB Group and President of Bangladesh Throwball Association FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn, General Secretary of Bangladesh Thrwball Association Shamim-Al-Mamun, Treasurer of the Association Ashiq-Al-Mamun and the officials of Walton were present at the time.
