National coloured cricketers – leg spinner Jubair Hossain Likhon, all rounders Suhrawardy Shuvo and Naeem Islam – will miss the upcoming franchise-based 5th Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) T20 Cricket beginning on November 2 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur.
The three cricketers along with national coloured top order batsman Shamsur Rahman Shuvo, opening batsman Junaid Siddique, spinner Enamul Haque Junior, pacer Shahadat Hossain Rajib are deprived of playing the BPL as they are not getting any team during players draft formalities held at a city hotel on Saturday.
Besides, Nazmul Hossain Milon, spinners of Bangladesh U-19 team Saleh Ahmed Shawon Gazi, Sanjit Saha, batsman Pinak Ghosh and Hassanuzzaman Jhoru were also remained unsold during players auction.
All the seven franchise teams have completed players recruiting formalities during the auction for the shortest version of the cricket with Rajshahi Kings picked up national sensation and cutter master Mustafizur Rahman in the squad in addition to another icon player cum Test captain Mushfiqur Rahim.
