Tthe National Public Service Day was celebrated in Bagerhat district town Under the auspices of Bagerhat district administration in a befitting manner on Monday.
The day’s programme started with a colourful rally that brought out from the local Swadhinata Udyan in the morning paraded the main thoroughfares of the district town ended at the starting point. It was led by Dr. Mozammel Hossain, MP of Bagerhat Constituency-4, President of the Parliamentary Permanent Committee of the Ministry of Social welfare affair and President of Bagerhat district unit of Bangladesh Awami League. After the end of the rally a discussion meeting was held in the same venue with Shahin Hossain, ADC (Education & ICT), Bagerhat in the chair. Al-haj Dr. Mozammel Hossain MP spoke in the discussion meeting as the chief guest while Al-haj Adv. Mir Shawkat Ali Badsh, MP of Bagerhat Sadar Constituency and President of the Parliamentary Committee of the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock affair, Pankaj Chandra Roy Police Super, Bagerhat and Dr. Arun Chandra Mandol, Civil Surgeon of Bagerhat addressed the discussion meeting as the special guests. All the speakers addressed the meeting explaining the significance and importance of the observance of the day. It was attended by the local elites.
