The 6th National & 5th Juvenile Bashap Competition was concluded at the Gymnasium of National Sports Council on Saturday.
Tonni Akhter of Chittagong Metropolitan clinched gold medal in the 55 kg weight category of the Women’s Division, Maimuna Sazzad Brishti of Nilphamari district gained gold medal in the -65 kg weight category of the Women’s Division, Sazid Islam of Panchagahr district bagged gold medal in the 45 kg weight category of the Men’s Division, Mainuddin Ahmed Shakil of Nilphamari district earned gold medal in the 55 kg weight category of the Men’s Division, Sabbir Arefin of Lalmonirhat district grabbed gold medal in the 75 kg weight category of the Men’s Division.
Meanwhile, Sumaiya Ahmed of Sylhet district bagged gold medal in the Open Division for the Girls’.
After the ending of the competition, President of Bangladesh Bashap Association and Additional DIG of Barisal Range Sheikh Maruf Hasan distributed the prizes among the winners. General Secretary of the Association Khaled Monsur Chowdhury was present at the time.
