The EXIM Bank 26th National Handball competition (Men’s) begins today (Sunday) simultaneously at two separate venues – Shaheed (Captain) M Mansur Ali Handball Stadium and Paltan Ground – in the city.
Agriculture Minister Begum Matia Chowdhury MP is expected to inaugurate the meet as chief guest at Shaheed (Captain) M Mansur Ali Handball Stadium at 11 am. EXIM Bank managing director Dr. Haider Ali Miah will present as special guest.
Bangladesh Handball Federation (BHF) president AKM Nurul Fazal Bulbul will preside over the opening ceremony.
A total of 29 districts teams from across the country, split into nine groups, will compete in the competition, sponsored by EXIM Bank Limited and organized by BHF.
