A disciplined bowling display by Rangpur Division bowlers saw host Sylhet Division suffered batting jolt in their first innings as they scored 203 for 6 at stumps on the first day of Tier-2 four-day National Cricket League held on Tuesday at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium at Sylhet.
Jaker Ali with 63 runs and Rahatul Ferdous with 19 runs at the crease as the stumps were drawn for the day. Shurawardy Shuvo was the most successful bowler for Rangpur as he grabbed three wickets giving away 58 runs.

Responsible batting display by Irfan Sukkur and Tasamul Haque rescued Chittagong Division from initial batting jolt as they scored 277 for 8 against Rajshahi Division at stumps on the first day of tier-two four-day National Cricket League (NCL) held on Tuesday at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong.
Tasamul Haque with 89 and Hossain Ali with 0 on the crease as the stumps were drawn for the day.
Saqlain Sajib caused the major damage for Chittagong as he grabbed four conceding 44 runs. He was well supported by Farhad Reza who claimed three wickets giving away 54 runs.

Raqibul Hasan scored a brilliant hundred saw Dhaka Division dominated the first day as they scored 303 for 4 against Khulna Division at stumps on the first day of Tier-1 fifth round four-day National Cricket League held on Tuesday at Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah.
Siaf Hasan and Nadif Chowdhury were on the crease with 89 and 15 runs as the stumps were drawn for the day.
Spinner Abdur Razzak bagged two wickets giving away 90 runs.

Mehrab Hossain Jr, with 48 and Elias Sunny with 9 were on the crease as the stumps as the stumps were drawn for the day,
Monir Hossain was the pick of Barisal bowlers as he grabbed three wickets conceding 51 runs. He was well supported by Salman Hossain who claimed two wickets giving away 50 runs.
