Khulna Division is in the driving seat against Dhaka Division in a tier-1 match on the 3rd day of the four-day National Cricket League at the Khan Saheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah on Monday.
Khulna Division, which bundled out for 117 runs in the first innings, resumed the 2nd innings Monday morning with overnight 205 for 4 in 56 overs and declared the innings for a huge 506 runs for 7 in 123.2 overs featuring two more centuries by Anamul Haque Bijoy and Nurul Hasan
Earlier on Sunday, Mehedi Hasan scored a century for Khulna Division making run a ball 104 runs hitting 18 boundaries.
One down Anamul Haque Bijoy, who was batting with 61 runs, completed the ton scoring just 100 runs off 267 deliveries including eight four and one six while number six batsman Nurul Hasan hammered an unconquered 182 runs off 223 balls featuring 19 fours and one six.
National coloured Ziaur Rahman added another useful 113-ball 89 runs hitting nine fours and five sixes.
Mohammad Masum grabbed three wickets for 147 runs while Mosharraf Hossain took two wickets for 142 runs.
In reply, Dhaka Division, with first innings total 154 runs, opened the 2nd innings Monday afternoon with a target of 470 runs and scored 37 for 2 in 20.1 overs when the bails were drawn for the 3rd day with opener Abdul Majid was in batting with 11 runs

In a tier-2 match at the Shaheed Chandu Stadium in Bogra, Barisal Division with first innings total 155 runs, resumed the 2nd innings with overnight 151 for 3 against Sylhet Division and declared the innings for 464 for 7 in 115.1 overs, featuring 230 runs in the 4th wicket by Salman Hossain and Al Amin.
Two down Salman Hossain, who was in batting with 72 runs, contributed a superb innings of 146 runs off 284 balls hitting 15 fours while another night watch batsman Al Amin (2) scored a polished 157 off 197 balls featuring 16 fours and three sixes.
National coloured Shahag Gazi quickfired 37-ball 50 runs with seven fours and one six.
Khaled Ahmed and Rahatul Ferdous took three wickets each conceding 83 and 92 runs respectively.
Sylhet Division, having 172 runs in the first innings, opened the 2nd innings with a target of 448 runs and scored 54 for 2 in 22 overs at the end of the 3rd day Monday with Imtriaz Hossain making 32 runs.

Night watch batsman Tasamul Hossain (66) scored a century contributing an unbeaten 134 runs off 372 balls featuring 14 boundaries while another night watch batsman (38) made a patient 53 runs off 167 balls with three fours.
Sanjamul Islam made the major damage in Chittagong innings grabbing eight wickets for 106 runs.

Sharifullah claimed four wickets for 49 runs while Arafat Sunny captured three for 70 runs.
In reply, Dhaka Metropolis team opened the 2nd innings and scored 179 for 2 in 53 overs.
