Sumaiya Ahmed Tarin of Sylhet division clinched gold in -45 kg weight category of National Bashap Competition at the Gymnasium of National Sports Council on Friday.
Maimuna Sazzad Brishti of Rangpur division bagged gold in -65 kg weight category, while Tasnia Mohsin Chhoa of Cox’s Bazar district gained gold in -35 kg weight weight category at the same venue on the same day.
Meanwhile, Adnan of Satkhira district won gold medal in the open categories for the boys on the same day.
Today State Minister for Youth and Sports Dr Biren Sikder will distribute the prizes among the winners as the chief guest. General Secretary of Bangladesh Bashap Association Khaled Monsur Chowdhury will be present with him at the time.
