The 4th Walton National Baseball championship began on Thursday at Paltan ground adjoining Bangabandhu National Stadium in the city.
Two times champions Sirajganj district along with all divisional teams and Bangladesh Police team are taking part in the three-day competition sponsored by Walton.
Organised by Bangladesh Baseball-Softball Association, the final of the three-day meet is slated on Saturday (January 28).
