A bKash sale agent (BSA) Arif Hossain, 27, allegedly went into missing with Tk about 12 lakh after he collected the amount from bikash agents at Kaliganj on August 23.
His mother Khursida Begum, “I have looked my son for all my probable places but did not find him anywhere”. She went to the South Keraniganj Police Station to lodge a GD but the police rejected to take her complaint, she alleged. “I just want to get my son back”.
On contrary, Jasim said Sharif, bKash dealers for Keraniganj area, under whose supervision Arif was working, told The New Nation that he went to hiding embezzling the money. He had been working with them for the last nine months. His main duty was to collect money from agents of the Kaliganj area and submit those in their dealership office at Zinzira.
“I contacted with him at around 1:30 PM on that day. Soon after contact, his mobile phone went off”, Jasim said.
A case has been filed with the South Keraniganj Police Station.
Sub-Inspector and IO of the case of the police station Asraf said, “As per information, Arif fled away with the money”.
He is trying his best to find out the alleged accused, he says.
