National Archery Championship starts tomorrow

The Grameenphone 7th National Archery Championship starts tomorrow at the Bangladesh Army Stadium in Banani.
Bangladesh Archery Federation will arrange the archery competition under auspices of Grameenphone.
A total of 61 teams will take part in the four-day long archery meet. A number of 310 archers (181 men & 129 women) will participate in the archery competition.
The divisions of the archery championships are: Bamboo Division, Recurve Division and Compound Division. General Secretary of Bangladesh Archery Federation Kazi Razib Uddin Ahmed Chapal disclosed all the matters related to the archery meet at a press conference held at the Dutch-Bangla Bank Auditorium of Bangladesh Olympic Association Bhaban on Sunday. Vice-President of Bangladesh Archery Federation Shafiq Anear, Vice-President of the Federation Anisur Rahman Dipu, Head of Corporate Communications of Grameenphone Tahmeed Azizul Haque, Member of the Federation Rafiqul Islam Tipu were present at the conference. Minister for Youth and Sports Biren Sikder, MP will inaugurate the archery competition as the chief guest.
The budget of the competition is Tk forty lakh twenty two thousand five hundred.
The first place achiever of the each event will be awarded gold medal, the second place winner of the each event will be given silver medal and the third place earner of each event will get bronze medal.
The archery competition will be concluded on June 27. Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Youth and Sports Zahid Ahsan Russell, MP will distribute the prizes among the winners as the chief guest on the concluding day.
