The annual election of Narsingdi district BAR Association executive committee was held at Bar Association Hall Room on Wednesday.
The 9 member executive committee was elected by 392 voters. Advo Amzad Hossain and Tarek Mohammed Luthfur Rahman Sarkar have been elected President and Secretary of the committee respectively.
The other executives are: Vice-president Adv Hamidul Bary Chowdhury (unopposed), Assitt secretary Adv Nazrul Islam, Assitt secretary (Library) Adv Parvin Begum, Treasurer Adv Rajiya Sultana Jupi (un-con-tested), Others executive member are Adv Kofiluddin Aondo, Adv Kobir Ahammed, Adv Bilkis Begum, Uali Hadi Biplob.
A total of 392 voters out of 379 cast their votes.
Adv ANM Oli Ullah as chief election commissioner and Adv Habibur Rahman, Adv Shofi uddin, Adv Shahjahan and Adv Abdul Mazid Shikdar as Assitt, commissioner conducted the election.
