Based on folk story Nosimon Sundori a theatre troupe from Sirajganj, Natyalok recently staged a play titled Nari Nosimon at the National Theatre Festival 2016.
Directed by Debashish Ghosh, Assistant Professor of Theatre and Performance Studies of Dhaka University Shahman Moishan wrote story of the play. Noted
litterateur Syed Shamsul Haque
contributed script advisor of the play.
Main story of the play revolves with
a lady named Nosimon who was insulted by her mother-in-law. She was accused by her husband’s weak mentality. Our
traditional male dominant society’s stories are portrayed vividly in the play.
