Narail District team will face Kishoreganj District team in the final of the Walton National Women’s Rugby Competition at the Paltan Maidan today. The match starts at 2.30 pm.
Narail District team defeated Manikganj District team by 15-5 points in the first semi-final at the same venue on Monday.
On the other hand, Kishoreganj District team made a 10-10 draw with Narayanganj District team at the same venue on the same day. Later, the match was ended in a 0-0 draw in the extra-time. Thus the fate of the match was decided in the tie-breaker. Kishoreganj District team beat Narayanganj District team by 2-1 points in the tie-breaker.
Today Secretary of Youth and Sports of Bangladesh Awami League Harunur Rashid and Operative Director (Head of Sports & Welfare Department) of Walton Group FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn will distribute the prizes among the winners as chief guests after the final match.
