Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid on Tuesday urged the officials and employees of Dhaka Education Board to work together to run the board smoothly to uphold its dignity.
The education minister was speaking as the chief guest at the installation function of the newly-elected Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board Employees Union at the board auditorium here.
Highlighting the present government’s steps for the development of the education sector, the minister said the dates for holding the examinations of SSC and HSC have been made specific, while their results are being published in 60 days.
Nahid said the work of the board has been widened as the number of students has increased to a great extent than before.
The education minister said holding examinations and publishing their results on time are being possible due to sincere efforts of all concerned of the board.
