Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid on Saturday night left here for Bahamas to join the 19th Conference of Commonwealth Education Ministers-19CCEM, beginning on Monday.
The five-day conference is going to be held in Nassau, the capital of Bahamas, with the theme – Quality Education for Equitable Development: Performance; Paths and Productivity.
Nurul Islam Nahid will chair the Regional Ministerial Caucus-2 of the conference on Tuesday (June 23), said a handout.
An online knowledge storehouse – Education Hub – will be inaugurated during the conference, which will also discuss the standard of education and issues relating to lessons and curricula.
Nahid is expected to return home on June 27.
