Former player of Bangladesh Cricket team Nafees Iqbal overcame coronavirus. Nafees Iqbal was infected by coronavirus in the mid of the June. His father and mother were also attacked by Covid-19. After tested positive of coronavirus, Nafees Iqbal and his father and mother took treatment at their Chattogram residence. They took home isolation after they had become patients of coronavirus. Nefees Iqbal is the elder brother of dashing opener Tamim Iqbal and nephew of Akram Khan, who is the Chairman of Cricket Operations Committee of Bangladesh Cricket Board. Nafees Iqbal and his parents tested negative on Thursday. Earlier, spinner of Bangladesh Cricket team Nazmul Islam Apu tested negative on Wednesday last.
Member of Bangladesh Cricket team Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, his younger brother Morsalin Bin Mortaza tested positive in coronavirus. They have passed their time at home isolation for 12 days. After two days, they will again under test of coronavirus.
Nafees Iqbal played 11 Test matches and 16 One Day International (ODI) matches.
He made his Test debut against New Zealand in 2004 in Dhaka, while he made his ODI debut in 2003 in Chattogram against England.
