An unbelievable incident regarding appointment of 3 job seekers occurred in one of the largest govt revenue earning body- Chattogram Customs House (CCH) recently. These job seekers became victims of deceiving when they came to join in their appointed post of CCH.
These job see kers came to know that their appointment letters are fake and they victimized . The job seekers identified as Milon Chakraborty of Lalmonirhat, Saiful Islam of Satkira, and Abdul Gafur of same district .
It is learnt from the sources said, Abdul Gafur was appointed as office helper and remaining two as Office Assistant cum computer Operator by a organized deceiving gang .
CCH sources said these victims came to Private Secretary of Customs Commissioner and apprised him about their joining in respective post as defined in the appointments.
Sources said these appointment letters were sent to them by govt post office with fake seal and stamp of the Customs Commissioner of dated 26th August,19 and asked them in the letter to join in ser vice by September 10 next.
They also showed Admit cards of appearing written test examination held on 22 june last held at Agrabad colony high school. While asked Addl. Commissioner of Customs Akbar Hossain told that they were deceived by a influential gang by using fake seal and signature .
He said following the filing a allegations before the police against any sorts of bribes , customs is bound to investigate the matter . An customs official on anonymity told that this mater should be enquired with storng hand otherwise youth job seekers will be deceived by such a way.
