The mystery of the much- talked murder of journalist couple Sagar Sarwar and Meherun Runi will finalised within next two months .
Press Advisor to the Prime Minister Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury disclosed it while addressing a view exchanging with the working journalists of different at Chittagong Press Club conference hall yesterday morning.
He said the result of the murder of journos now in final stage and the case is under trial and expects good news of the murder by next two months. Sagar-Runi murder occurred on Februay 11, 2012 at their residence in Dhaka .
The press advisor expressed concern over it despite passing of three years of the occurrence. Iqbal Sobhan also said a number of journalists lost their lives for achieving the independence of press freedom but our associates yet to be get justice .
He said the trial of Rajabn murder, seven murder now running but the punishment of the killers of journo Humayun Kabir, Manik saha yet to be sighted.
He called the media men to be more cautious for abuse of press freedom .President of Chittagong Press club presided over the meeting of views exchanging duly moderated by Joint Secretary Chowdhury Farid.
Among others, President of Natiional Press Club Md Shafiqur Rahman, Editor of Dainik Azadi MA Malek, Editor of Dainik Purbokone Taslim Uddin Chowdhury, CUJ President Ejaz Yousufi, General Secretary of Press club Mohsin Chowdhury, journalist leaders Shahidul Alam, Reaz Hyder Chowdhury, Nazimuddin Shamal, Shamsul Islam and Moinuddin Quaderi Showkat spoke on the occasion.
