The two-day Development Fair marking the transition of the country from the least developed country to the developing country ended on Sunday. The event was inaugurated at the Upazila Parishad premises under the chairmanship of Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mejbaul Karim where Prof. Dr. Md. Abdul Aziz, Member of Parliament for 64 Sirajganj 3 constituencies was present as chief guest.
The special guests were former MP and President of Upazila Awami League Palash Danga Yubshibir freedom fighter Gazi MM Amjad Hossain Milon, General Secretary Sanjit Karmakar, Upazila Assistant Commissioner (land) Obaidullah, Baruhas UP Chairman Lecturer Moktar Hossain Mukta, Saguna UP Chairman TM Abdullah Baki, Magura Binod UP Chairman Prof Atiqul Islam Bulbul, Upazila Health and WP Officer Dr. Jamal Mia Shovon, Bir Muktijoddha SM Abdur Razzak, and members of Muktijoddha family, various government officials and political leaders.
