A team of the Narcotic Department arrested a Yaba smuggler, who is a citizen of Myanmar, and recovered 2,500 pieces of Yaba tablet from his possession at Shah Amanat Bridge area in the port city on early Monday.
The arrestee Yaba smuggler, who used to smuggle the Yaba regularly, is identified as Nur Mohammed of Tanarchar of Mongdu in Myanmar. Nur confessed to the police.
