On 15th October 2017 my age’s eighty-four.
Very happy I am though my back sore
says, “Well, I shall accompany you till death.”
I am sure as I’m destined to my Islamic faith.
Truth is no stranger than fiction as time passes.
Here we play our part inevitable on the stage
as the Unseen Being reads page after page
until and unless the drop-scene that one faces.
My pride of performance is so minuscule
as a matter of fact, I become a fool!
I don’t fight shy as saying that above all of us
the Great Unseen Power, runs the Universe!
I carry on praying now and then,
O Allah! Exonerate my sin
and that would be my gain.
