The fifth round matches of the Bangabandhu Dhaka Premier League (DPL) Cricket came to an end on Tuesday last.
Prime Doleshwar Sporting Club led the points table securing nine points from five matches.
Dhaka Abahani Limited and Prime Bank Cricket Club jointly captured the second position bagging eight points each from their respective five matches.
On the other hand, Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited earned six points from five matches.
Partex Sporting Club took the bottom position earning naught from five outings.
Anisul Islam Emon of Old DOHS Sports Club is the top scorer after ending the fifth round matches of DPL Cricket. He scored 186 runs from five matches. His individual highest score is 64.
Rakin Ahmed of Old DOHS Sports Club is the second highest scorer of the ongoing League. He scored 170 runs playing five matches. His individual highest score is 46. Dashing opener Tamim Iqbal of Prime Bank Cricket Club is the third highest scorer of the DPL Cricket. He made 168 runs from five matches and his individual highest score is 47.
Tasamul Haque of Partex Sporting Club is the fourth highest scorer of the League. He made 157 runs from five matches. His individual highest score is 65 (not out).
Mahmudul Hasan Joy of Old DOHS Sports Club is the fifth highest scorer of the DPL Cricket. He scored 156 runs playing five matches. His individual highest score is 78 (not out).
Left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman of Prime Bank Sporting Club and right-arm pacer Khaled Ahmed of Khelaghar Samaj Kalyan Samity jointly took the highest wickets. Mustafizur Rahman and Khaled Ahmed captured 10 wickets from their respective five matches. Mustafizur Rahman’s best bowling figure is 5/22. Khaled Ahmed’s best bowling figure is 3/24.
Tanvir Islam of Shinepukur Cricket Club took the second position with nine wickets from five matches. His best bowling figure is 3/8. Nayeem Hasan of Prime Bank Cricket Club and Ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan of Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited jointly took the third position with eight wickets each from their respective five matches. Nayeem’s best bowling figure is 3/24,
while Shakib’s best bowling figure is 2/12.
