Mustafiz returns to practice session

‘Cutter Boy’ Mustafizur Rahman returned to practice session at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the city’s Mirpur on Sunday. The left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman could not take part in the third T20I against Pakistan recently. He was also ruled out from the two-Test match series against Pakistan recently as he was injured. Mustafiz was not included in the Bangladesh squad for two-match Test series against New Zealand. The left-arm pacer did not take part in the ongoing Bangladesh Cricket League.
Marking the upcoming Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Cricket, he has started his practice from Sunday. Mustafiz bowled five overs after decreasing his foot steps. He took part in the practice session with Mahmudullah Riyad. During the practice session he talked to Riyad.
After taking part in the practice session, Mustafiz talked to the physiotherapist of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). Today he will participate in gym and tomorrow he will again do bowling. Tomorrow (Tuesday) the physiotherapist will give him decision about his fitness.
The BPL Cricket will start in January. Though the schedule and fixture of BPL Cricket is not finalized yet but BPL is likely start from January 20. Mustafiz got injury during the third T20I against Pakistan recently. In that match, a crazy fan touched him. After that Mustafiz was ruled out as the fan broke the bio-secure bubble environment.
