Banks to operate from 10am to 2:30pm until May 30

Business Desk :Bangladesh Bank (BB) has extended thebanking hours from 10am to 2.30pm until May 30 for facilitating the financial transaction of their clients during the lockdown.The central bank on Sunday issued a circular for all the banks in compliance with the Cabinet Division’s latest directives on the countrywide lockdown to contain Coronavirus transmission.The banks can keep open offices until 4 pm to do their necessary activities, said the BB circular.Currently, banks have been operating transactions from 10 am to...
