ULAB Shangskriti Shangsad conducted a musical competition entitled ‘Battle of Tune’ recently at its Campus-B, Dhanmondi in the capital. In the competition, participants were given a musical theme to work with and prepare their lyric, compose a song and perform accordingly. First phase of the competition included performers rehearsing and preparing their songs in the given time where 5 groups took part in the competition with 2-3 participants represented each group. The motto of the competition was to enhance the musical capabilities of the participants and how they are being able to create a melody on their own.
The competition was a successful one where the panel of judges included Adviser Co-Curricular Activities and Associate Professor Dr Pinki Shah, MBA Coordinator Moinak Kanungo ULAB Shangskriti Shangsad Adviser Shajedul Alam and Assistant Professor Shaheen Ara.
