Mushfiqur’s ton helps Bangladesh to set 280-run target for India

Skipper Mushfiqur Rahim`s second ODI century steered Bangladesh to set a 280-run target for India in the second match of the Asia Cup at the Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium in Narayanganj on Wednesday. Mushfiqure scored 117 off 113 balls which helped Bangladesh to put 279 runs on the scoreboard losing seven wickets in 50 overs after India chose to field first wining the toss. The match, began at 2:00 pm, is being broadcast live on Channel 9. Anamul Haque Bijoy scored 77 runs off 106 balls. Mominul Haque added 23 runs to the scorecard before he was stumped in a delivery of spinner Ravichandran Aswin. Two key players — opener Tamim Iqbal and all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan — are not playing in the match.
