Newly appointed Director General (DG) of Islamic Foundation Dr Md Mushfiqur Rahman on Wednesday joined office here.
Earlier, he served as the additional secretary of Cabinet Division. He replaced director general of Islamic Foundation Anis Mahmud, said a press release.
On February 1 last, the Ministry of Public Administration issued an order appointing Dr. Mushfiqur Rahman as the new DG of the foundation.
In 1994, Mushfiqur Rahman joined administration (cadre) of Bangladesh Civil Service. Later, he served as assistant commissioner (land), UNO at different upazilas, deputy commissioner of Netrakona, additional secretary of the Cabinet Division.
Later, newly appointed DG Mushfiqur Rahman exchanged greetings with the directors at the meeting room, added the press release.
