Captain of Bangladesh National Cricket (Test) team Mushfiqur Rahim is now totally fit. He was injured in the second Twenty20 International Cricket match against Zimbabwe at Sheikh Abu Naser Shtadium in Khulna on January 17.
Later, he was taking preparation to join the practice session of Bangladesh National Preliminary Squad at the same venue. He took part on the first day of the practice session. But he could not participate in the first two practice matches. However, He took part in the practice match between Bangladesh Green team and Bangladesh Red team on Sunday. He played for Bangladesh Green team and acted the roll of wicketkeeper in the total time during the innings of Bangladesh Red team. He took the catch of Nurul Hasan from a delivery of Abu Haider.
But he could bat for a short time. He arrived at the crease when Bangladesh Green team needed three runs to win. He faced three balls but failed to deposit any run in his account.
Physiotherapist of Bangladesh National Cricket team Vibhab Singh said, ” Mushfiq is totally fit now. So he played today.”
After the practice match, Tamim Iqbal said, ” I see that Mushfiq is totally well.”
