Muna Rahman releases her debut song

Hailed from Cumilla, Muna Rahman has been learning
music since childhood. Basically
she learned music with the interest of her mother, Suraiya Islam. Muna has been practicing music for her passion. She has released her debut solo original song titled Kichhu Abchha Hawa Prohor. Sakhawat Hossain Maruf wrote lyrics of the song while Yousuf Ahmed Khan has composed its tune and music. The song was released on YouTube channel of singer Yousuf Ahmed Khan, Y-Bits on Sunday. Earlier, Muna rendered a song titled Kototuku Ashrute, which lyrics and tunes were composed by Shahiduzzaman Swapan. Parbot Raihan made music video of the song. Though it was her first solo original track but among the music-lovers, Kichhu Abchha Hawa Prohor will be treated as her debut solo original song because this song has been released but first one yet not get release, according to singer Muna. While sharing her feelings for releasing debut solo original song, Muna Rahman said,
“I have liked lyrics, tune and music arrangement of my debut solo original song. In a word, it is really outstanding to me. I am very much satisfied about this song as a newcomer singer. I request listeners to hear the song. In fact, I want to
continue practicing music.”
Muna informed that January 17 is her birthday. Along with parents, she has two younger brothers. Her only daughter Sadia Rahman Mim also lent her voice along with
mother in a Tagore song, Bhalobese Sokhi Nivrito Jotone,
which will be released soon. Muna received training in music from Wajedul Faruk for 20 years and later from Ustad Yakub Ali Khan for five years in classical and Nazrul songs. She also taught in Western Standard International School for several years.
