Versatile actor Mukul Siraj has become a dependable actor of multidimensional roles
in the small screen. Now many directors are showing their keen interest to cast Mukul Siraj in their works. Hailed from Munshiganj and born on March 7 in 1975, Md Sirajul Islam was real name of Mukul Siraj. While working in media his name later turned into Mukul Siraj which was given by Shamim Shahed. From 1999 to 2007, Mukul Siraj worked with theatre group, Nattyadhara. Chander Omabosshya, Ghorami, Agnijol, We Are Looking For Shotruj,
etc are his acted mentionable play on the stage. Few days ago, he was attached with another theatre group titled Theatre Factory. But he yet not worked under this theatre group. In the small screen, Mukul Siraj first acted in TV
serial Rupantor, directed by Gazi Rakayet,
in 2008. His acted mentionable TV dramas are: Bhalobasa Kare Koy, Sukh Pakhi, Torik Ali Hadari, Long March, Mohaguru, Sidurer Chupkothar Golpo, etc. According to the actor, he is now engaged with acting in serials Kaiser Ahmed’s Golmal, Bokulpur and Jadunogor,’ Biplob Haider’s Sukh Pakhi, and Nima Rahman’s Gulshan Avenue- Season-2. While talking about his acting career Mukul Siraj said, “Humayun Faridi was my favourite actor. He is my inspiration in acting. But I never thought I could become an actor. Acting was my passion. Later, after continuing acting it has become my profession. I am
grateful to my family members, actors’ family,
producers, directors and viewers – all who co-operated me a lot to come into this position in media. They loved my works. It is really a great achievement for me to get everybody’s loves.”
Mukul Siraj also said that his parents Abdus Samad and Kulsul Begum are not alive now. He is passing happy family life with his wife Moushumi Islam and two daughters – Mithila and Minta. Mukul Siraj acted movie Raat Jaga Phul, directed by Mir Sabbir, is waiting to release soon. Therefore, he is performing
as model in a new TVC.
