The members of Muktijudda Sangsad Santhan Command celebrated the execution of the war criminal and Al Badr Chief of Chittagong Mir Quasem Ali through lightning candle infront of former Dalim Hotel in city after execution of hanging on Saturday night.
A huge procession under the banner of Santan Command and Anti-Militancy Jubo Mancha stormed in front of the AL Badr headquarter(Dalim Hotel) with slogans of Joy Bangla.
Shahid Santan and City Jubo League Joint convener Farid Mahmud led the procession.
Eye witnesses sources said the entire area of Dalim hotel premises became cheerup with the candle lightning and slogans of Joy Bangla, Jamaat Shibir Razakar etc. Everyone carried candle in their hands, sources said.
Commander of city unit of Muktijudda Sangsad Mozzaffar Ahmed joined the candle light procession in front of Dalim Hotel and distributed national flag to all participants, eye witnesses sources said.
