The foundation stone of a gate named “Mukti O Ganotantro” was laid on Friday at the entry point to Dhaka University (DU) near Nilkhet.
DU Vice-Chancellor Professor AAMS Arefin Siddique laid the foundation stone as the chief guest.
Architect Rabiul Hussain designed the gate.
