Md Nazrul Islam, Special Correspondent of Desh BD 24.com was elected President and Daily Somokal Muktagacha Upazila Correspondent Shafiq Sarkar have been elected General Secretary in the biennial election of the Executive Committee of Muktagacha Upazila Press Club in Mymensingh recently.
The general meeting was chaired by FM A Salam, President of Muktagacha Press Club, President of the Central Committee of Bangladesh Television District Correspondent Association. In the second session, election was held under the leadership of Shamsuddin Master, Bajrang Agarwala and Mahbubul Alam Ratan. Md. Nazrul Islam was elected president and Shafiq Sarkar, General Secretary by secret ballot vote. They will officially take charge on January 1st. The name of other posts will be declared later.
