FMA Salam, Mymensingh District Correspondent of Bangladesh Television and M Idris Ali, Muktagacha Crrespondent of Daily Sangbad and News Editor of Brahmaputra Express, were elected respectively as President and General Secretary of Muktagacha Press Club. The election was held on Wednesday.
Also elected were Vice President Abu Saleh Md. Musa (Independent TV), Organizing Secretary FerdousAlam (Jay Jaydin) and Member Prof. BajrangAgarwala, Prof. M. MurshedAlam Khan Liton (Daily NoyaDigonto) and Manonesh Das (Ittefaq) have been elected.
On the other hand, Joint Secretary AHM Mazharul Azad Bulbul (Deshbangla), Treasurer Advocate Md. Nasir Uddin Fakir (Sangram), Publicity Publication Secretary Prof. MahbubulAlamRatan (Azker Bangladesh), Literary and Cultural Secretary ASM RashidulAlamShamim have been elected unopposed. Welfare Secretary Mofazzal Hossain (New Welfare), Information Secretary Md. Daraj Ali (BhorerPaata).
Press Club members Faridul Islam Dulal (Vorerdak) and Hazrat Ali (AmaderNotunSomoy) acted as Election Commission. Overall support was given by Abdul Jalil, President of the Primary Teachers Association.
