Iftekhar Shuvo directed his debut movie Mukhosh received censor certificate from the Censor Board recently. Though the movie was scheduled to release on January 21 but it got delayed due to Covid pandemic.
The movie features Pori Moni, Ziaul Roshan and Mosharraf Karim in the lead roles. While talking in this regard director Shuvo said, “Mukhosh will be released as soon as Covid situation in the country comes under control. Maybe in February or on Eid-ul-Fitr. I was really preparing for January 21 to release the movie. As it is not happening,
I am a little bit sad. At the same time, I am very happy that my debut movie got the uncut censor certificate.”
The story of the movie is based on the novel written by Iftekhar Shuvo named Page Number Forty Four. This movie is of the thriller genre. The shooting of the movie began in Savar in January. The movie was shot in different locations including the Ekushey Book Fair, Sylhet, Tangail, BFDC and the chars of the River Padma. The movie also stars Azad Abul Kalam, Iresh Zaker, Pran Roy, Rashed Mamun Apu, Elina Shammi, Faruk Ahmed, among others.
