State Minister for Labour and Employment Md Mujibul Haque on Friday urged all concerned to become more responsible towards the workers to ensure their professional health and safety for building a prosperous country.
“It is the legal and fundamental right of workers to be in healthy and safe workplace. Owners should be more sincere to protect the right of workers,” he told a press conference at ministry conference room on the eve of “National Professional Heath and Safety Day”.
The day will be observed in the country for the second time while this year’s theme is “Healthy Work Environment, Going Ahead Bangladesh”.
