Some unidentified miscreants snatched Tk 60,000 and a mobile phone set from a man on the city’s Nababpur Road on Thursday afternoon.
The victim named Harun-Ar-Rashid was rushed to the Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) with bullet injury, said DMCH Police Outpost Sub-Inspector Bachhu Mia quoting the relatives.
“At least three miscreants intercepted Harun when he was going to Nababpur Road with hard cash around 4:30pm. At one stage, they shot at him, snatched the money and mobile phone set from him,” the police official said.
He was taken to the DMCH instantly, the SI said.
A case was filed with the Wari Police station in this connection, he said.
