Staff Reporter : Mugda General Hospital in Dhaka has launched 3T (test, trace and treatment) services in a bid to curb the Covid-19 outbreak, said a release.
Under the 3T model, persons infected with Covid-19 will be identified, according to the release undersigned by Awami League MP Saber Hossain Chowdhury, also president of the management committee of the hospital.
Besides, isolation of the infected persons and quarantine of those who came in touch with the coronavirus infected patient will be ensured, it read.
The 3T model was introduced at the hospital from Tuesday.
Authorities of the hospital and Child Health Research Foundation have signed a co-operation agreement in this regard, the release added.
