Nine men Dhaka Mohammedan split points with Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club when their match ended in a 1-1 goal draw in the Bangladesh Premier Football League held on Wednesday at the Bangabandhu National Stadium. Mohammedan took the lead in the 60th minute as midfielder Mejbabul Haque Manik standing at the top of box scored with a fierce drive a corner of Zahid Hossain flew to him off a clearance of Jamal defence (1-0). Mohammedan’s Cameroonian defender Baybeck was sent-off in the 73rd minute with the second yellow card for a foul on Sony Norde. Mohammedan was reduced to nine men in the 82nd minute after Zahid Hossain hit Jamal midfielder Sohel Rana off the ball and was shown the direct red card. With seven minutes added as the stoppage time substitute forward Toklis Ahmed headed the equalizer in the sixth minute. (1-1) Sheikh Jamal has 13 points from five matches while Mohammedan has six from the same number of matches.
