Nine men Dhaka Mohammedan split points with Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club when their match ended in a 1-1 goal draw in the Bangladesh Premier Football League held on Wednesday at the Bangabandhu National Stadium.

Sony Norde was in action again in the 16th minute but his header on a cross of wing back Md. Lincon fly over the crosspiece.
Mohammedan goalie Titumir Chowdhury denied Jamal’s Nigerian forward Emeka Darlington who headed a Linkon cross in the near post but Titumir dived full to grip the ball. Mohammedan winger Zahid Hossain tried his luck from 35 yards out with looping shot in the 32nd minute but Sheikh Jamal goalie Mostak fisted the ball for a corner in the last second.
Three minutes ahead of the first half SonY Norde again headed a cross of Lincon but Titumir again punched the ball to safety.
Mohammedan took the lead in the 60th minute as midfielder Mejbabul Haque Manik standing at the top of box scored with a fierce drive a corner of Zahid Hossain flew to him off a clearance of Jamal defence (1-0).
Mohammedan’s Cameroonian defender Baybeck was sent-off in the 73rd minute with the second yellow card for a foul on Sony Norde.
Mohammedan was reduced to nine men in the 82nd minute after Zahid Hossain hit Jamal midfielder Sohel Rana off the ball and was shown the direct red card.
With seven minutes added as the stoppage time substitute forward Toklis Ahmed headed the equalizer in the sixth minute. (1-1)
Sheikh Jamal has 13 points from five matches while Mohammedan has six from the same number of matches.
