Bengali feature film Mridha Bonam Mridha released
in 44 cinema halls across the country on Friday.
The family movie revolves around the relationship between a father and son. In line with that thought, Sirajganj’s Roots Cineclub is offering a discount of Tk 50
on tickets to anyone who brings their father along to
watch this movie. Popular actor Siam Ahmed, who plays the central character in Mridha Bonam Mridha, shared details about the discount on social media, describing
it as a heartwarming initiative.
Mridha Bonam Mridha is ad filmmaker Roni Bhowmik’s debut feature film. Alongside Siam, it stars Tariq Anam Khan, Nova Firoze and Sanjida Preeti, among many
others. Earlier this week, a special screening of the film was held in the capital, in the presence of the cast and crew and other noted members of the media and film
fraternity. Many expressed that Mridha Bonam Mridha is one of the most wonderfully directed films of recent times.
