MP Rumeen withdraws plea for plot

Member of the parliament Rumeen Farhana has withdrawn her application submitted to the government seeking a plot measuring 10 kathas in her favour in Purbachal Model Town in Dhaka.
She disclosed her decision in an application submitted to the Housing and Public Works Ministry on Tuesday.
In the application, she wrote that she was withdrawing her land allotment request as a mark of her respect to the BNP central leaders and activists.
BNP Chairperson’s Media Wing Member Shairul Kabir Khan told The New Nation that Rumeen had taken an excellent decision by withdrawing her application.
Earlier, Rumeen submitted an application on August 3 seeking in the Purbachal Model Town a piece of 10-katha land.
