U.S. Ambassador to Bangladesh Dan Mozena and U.S. Agency for International Development Mission Director Janina Jaruzelski visited different development programmes financed by USAID in Patuakhali and Barguna districts on Wednesday.
The visit on Wednesday included farmer school, nutrition, agriculture, hatchery, and fish cultivation, poultry projects at Sadar, Kalapara, Kuakata tourist zone, Kuakata Rakhain area, Hazipur, Mohipur of Patuakhali, and Amtali of Barguna.
The Ambassador and USAID official also exchanged views with the stake holders of the projects and expressed their satisfaction in implementations of the programmes.
Andrew Reed, agriculture officer, Wasif Hasan, communication officer, Aaron Hockings, country manager, Ali Reza, deputy country manager, Yasir Arafat, Barisal divisional manager, USAID, Syed Mohsin, public relation officers of US Embassy, administrative officials of the district and region also accompanied the US Ambassador and USAID official during the visits.
On Thursday the team will visit Mohipur of Patuakhali and Barguna district town.
