Sheikh Arif Bulbon :Viewers’ choice popular actress Moutushi Biswas earlier worked in several plays which stories were written by noted writer, novelist, playwright and filmmaker Humayun Ahmed. But she never got the opportunity to perform under the story of noted litterateur Imdadul Haq Milon. For the first time she became heroine of Milon’s story based a play. Title of the plays is Gachh Bondhu. Arun Chowdhury has written script of the play under the story written by Imdadul Haq Milon. Shooting of Gachh Bondhu will begin at Pubail in Gazipur on March 30. Arun Chowdhury will also give direction of the play.Moutushi will perform in role of an environment activist named Lota in the play. She loves trees overall. Her brought up was developed observing the growing up of a tree. Once she got a marriage proposal from an urban area. But Lota refuses to leave village and trees. Oneday Lota’s father cut down her favourite tree. Story of the play gets momentum and climax later. While sharing her feelings about her performance in the play Gachh Bondhu Moutushi told this correspondent, “After reading the story of the play I really became impressed. I have tried to perceive the character Lota in my mind properly. I think it will be a nice work. I always try to work in exceptional story based plays. As a part of its continuation, I have decided to work in play Gachh Bondhu.”On the occasion of coming National Tree Day the play Gachh Bondhu will be telecasted on Channel i, said Motushi. Today, on March 26, is the birthday of Moutushi Biswas. Though she worked in Afsana Mimi’s daily soap Shatti Tarar Timir yesterday Moutushi doesn’t have any shooting schedule today. Last year she was in Kolkata on her birthday. Her husband Polash Dutta is now sick. For this reason, she will pass the day at her residence. But she will celebrate her birthday homely along with her husband and only daughter Ariya, Moutushi said.Now Moutushi’s acted three drama serials – Shatti Tarar Timir, directed by Afsana Mimi; Cholitechhey Circus, directed by Masud Sezan and Family Pack, directed by Ali Fida Ekram Tojo, are being telecasted on ATN Bangla, Banglavision and NTV respectively.Recently Moutushi has finished shooting of Alvi Ahmed’s film U-Turn. Her first acted film was Mostafa Sarwar Farooki’s Bachelor. After many days, viewers will watch a new Moutushi with different look in film U-Turn, she hoped.It may be mentioned that Moutushi earlier worked under Arun Chowdhury’s direction in a TV serial titled Rumali, which story was written by Humayun Ahmed.
